Portrait of Mayflower was commissioned by Rosetta and her brothers for their fathers 70th Birthday. Mayflower was his beloved horse who sadly had to be put to sleep at the age of 28 and Rosetta wanted her father to have a lovely portrait of her. Rosetta sent me a lot of photos of Mayflower and we finally settled on one. It needed a bit of work as Mayflower neck was bending in an unnatural way, but soon enough I was able to correct this. We also managed to chose a beautiful frame that complemented the painting nicely and here is the final result! :)
